So much to share. So much to learn.
Hello,
I would like to introduce myself. My name is John Suprano. The opportunity to express thoughts, feelings, ideas, and possible solutions are my intentions and goals. Life is full of many blessings. I was born in 1963. I consider myself truly lucky to experience the advances throughout the years. The big console television with a rabbit ears. Eventually we had an antenna on the roof which could be turned for a clearer picture in the house. Justice would not be served if I did not mention the four television stations available, two, four, eleven, and fifty-three. Moving forward a few years. My sophomore year in college was the first experience with computer technology. A computer programing course was required. A program had to be written using punch cards. I worked and struggled to earn a “C” as a final grade. How the last forty years have changed. Bottom line, growing up, technology was not an issue. Now, technology is everything
Throughout the years I had ups and downs. Bad experiences strengthened. Good spoiled. Balance was key. Learned from the bad and cherished the good. I am not afraid or ashamed admitting starting a blog at this stage of my life is a new experience. However, my mind keeps wanting to share what I know and hope some will appreciate the stories, thoughts, and possibly be inspired.
The tittle “Life, Opinions, and Pride” came naturally. After Reflecting on the tittle of the blog it sums my experiences perfectly. My writings are straight from the heart and will be a combination of old school and modern thoughts. I may be older, and some may consider my way of thinking prehistoric. Somewhere through the last 40-50 years values, morals, accountability, and respect slowly seemed to be replaced with glit, glory, false acceptance, and entitlement. Thoughts from my mind throughout the years will be visited later.
With my laidback personality I prefer not to be in the spotlight. I am not a fan of drama, glit, and entitlement. I will cover multiple subjects. Preferably incorporating life experiences and thoughts, politics, music and common sense. I feel the American dream and values are considered obsolete and never to late to learn are small samples of future writings.
In conclusion, this is my first attempt writing a blog. My expectations are mistakes, learning from downfalls, and corrections. Additions will made in the future including social media links and my profile picture. I would encourage participation in my journey and join the increased progression no matter what the future holds. I would love to read your comments, ideas, and recommendations.
